Transport & Guidelines
General Guidelines
- The school has an arrangement with an external agency for plying on various bus routes.
- The school reserves the right to discontinue the bus service without assigning any reason.
- Changes in bus routes to suit a particular student will not be entertained during the decision of School Transport Department is final.
- Routes of the school buses are constructed after considering the convenience of most parents. However, the decision of the school authorities on routing, timing and pickup points of the bus will be final.
- In case of any issues regarding bus services, the Transport In-charge may be contacted.
Student Guidelines
- Children using the bus service are expected to behave in an orderly and disciplined manner. The school reserves the right to withdraw the bus facility to any student without assigning any reason by giving a week’s written notice.
- Students must not damage, disfigure or destroy the fittings of the buses. Cost of any damage to cushions, covers, curtains or any other fittings and fixtures in the bus shall be recovered from the parents of the student’s concerned.

Parent Guidelines
- Parents are expected to treat the bus staff with due respect.
- Parents should update any changes in phone numbers or bus stop/address at the school office.
- It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that their children reach the pickup points well on time, to prevent delay.
- In case of any issues regarding bus services, the transport in-charge may be contacted.
- Parents have to make sure that they pick up their children at the notified time from the specified bus stop, failing which, the child will be taken back to the school and the parents will have to collect their ward on their own.
- Only parents are allowed to pick up their child. Any other individual must have written authorisation from the parent.

Safety Guidelines
- School buses are equipped with all necessary safety features within and strictly follow all security norms as per the guidelines issued by the government to safeguard the children. However, in case of any mishap during transit the school takes no responsibility for the same.
- Safety mock drills will be conducted at regular interval.
- The main doors and emergency exit doors are properly fitted with reliable locks.
Transport Fees
- Transportation Fees are payable for the entire session that is 12 months, students wishing to discontinue mid- session must give a minimum one month notice in writing to transport-in charge.
- Students wishing to avail the bus facility or to discontinue the bus facility for a short while must pay the bus charges for the entire month.
Transport Policy
- Buses may arrive at the bus stop upto 10 minutes before or after the scheduled time, and parents are kindly requested to cooperate.
- A child is expected to travel in the bus allotted. Change of bus route at any cost is not permitted.
- The escort card is mandatory to be shown to the Teacher in charge before receiving the child.
- School name and Telephone numbers are mentioned inside and on the buses for giving or collecting information related to the school transport.
