Leadership.

Responsibility.

Integrity.

Our Student Council embodies these values, giving students a democratic platform to voice ideas, lead change, and represent their peers with pride and integrity.

The Selection Process

Becoming a part of the Student Council is a journey of merit, confidence, and commitment. Each year, students from Grades IV to XII undergo a structured and transparent selection process designed to identify leadership qualities, communication skills, and team spirit.

Each year, students from Grades IV – XII go through a multi-stage process that identifies true leaders:

  • Self-Nomination & Write-Up:
Students nominate themselves and share their vision for leadership.

  • Interview & Group Discussion:
Shortlisted candidates interact with senior teachers and the Principal, showcasing teamwork, clarity of thought, and values.

This rigorous process ensures that every elected member reflects the school’s ethos of confidence, compassion, collaboration, and competence.

The Council Structure

The Council includes the Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains and Vice-Captains, Sports and Cultural Captains, Prefects, and Junior

Representatives. Together, they lead assemblies, manage events, and act as the bridge between students and teachers, upholding the Millennium spirit of discipline and teamwork.

The Investiture Ceremony

Leadership begins with a moment of pride —the Investiture Ceremony. Inthe presence of parents, teachers, and peers, the newly elected leaders receive their badges of honour and take the oath to lead with integrity and dedication. The event, marked by music, dance, and solemn pledges, celebrates the essence of service and responsibility.

Building Leaders for Tomorrow

Through mentorship, experience, and responsibility, our Student Council prepares young leaders to take initiative with humility, think critically, and act with empathy. It is more than a governing body—it’s a living lesson in democracy, teamwork, and ethical leadership. Through mentorship and experience, the Student Council nurtures young minds to think critically, act with empathy, and inspire others — proving that leaders are nurtured, not born.
